St. Paul's Croatian Church has been the center of Catholic Croatian culture in Cleveland since it's first service held on Easter Sunday in 1904. It has been a place of worship and celebration for so many over the years. On October the 8th, 2016 it became the starting point for Joseph and Iva's life as a married couple. The doors opened as the ceremony concluded. Joseph and Iva made their way down the aisle smiling ear to ear as their family and friends cheered them on. These are the moments that make my job wonderful. The moments in-between the moments, when you can feel a break that signifies the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
Sand between our toes, the sound of the waves brushing against the shore in the background, and a gentle breeze to cool us down just enough. The setting could not have been any more perfect. Even the trees were smiling, something similar to a tropical version of a Bob Ross painting. You could feel the love bursting at the seems and just barley being contained by the smiles on their faces, they were beyond ready to say "I do". These are the moments I love to photograph. The moments that bring joy and perspective to life. Myself and a few of their close friends and relatives pushed the pause button on our lives back in the states to share in memories, laughs, and the love of a beautiful couple. Congratulations you two!
